With the clocks having recently gone back in the UK and evenings growing increasingly darker, it’s easy to start to feel the impact of Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). Here are our top tips to keep our spirits high during the winter months.

Get Outside: Make the most of natural daylight, especially in the morning. A short walk can work wonders for your mood!

Stay Active: Exercise is a powerful mood booster. Find an activity you enjoy to keep moving through the season. Buddy up with colleagues or family members to maintain momentum.

Prioritise Social Connections: Stay connected with friends and family. Virtual catch-ups or coffee breaks can help combat isolation.

Eat Nutrient-Rich Foods: Focus on a balanced diet, incorporating omega-3s and vitamin D to support your mental health.

Establish a Sleep Routine: Consistent sleep schedules can improve energy and mood. Aim to wake up and go to bed at the same time daily.

Practice Mindfulness: Just a few minutes of mindfulness or meditation can reduce stress and enhance resilience.

Set Positive Goals: Small, achievable goals can give you something to look forward to and keep you motivated.

All around us, AI is changing the way we work—whether it’s understanding client preferences, automating tasks, streamlining strategies, or simply generating new sales ideas.

Many of us have started exploring tools like ChatGPT, CoPilot, and Gemini. Even platforms like Canva, LinkedIn, and Hubspot now integrate AI to help us design marketing materials, manage projects, and improve communication. But, have you thought about the potential risks?  Sharing information now might lead to unintended consequences later. For example, what seems like harmless data today could combine with future uploads, exposing confidential business details you never intended to reveal.

Before your team dives straight in, make sure that you understand how your sales data is being used, stored, and protected.

Here are our top three tips for staying secure:

🟢 Read the Terms and Conditions: Always review the T&Cs before your team uses any AI tool. It's crucial to understand how your data will be managed and what rights you retain over it.
